Sharing Assembly - Reception, Year 1 & Year 2

Sharing Assembly - Reception, Year 1 & Year 2

This term's sharing assembly was ably led by Max and Millie.

Each class took it in turns to share some work and to tell us what they had enjoyed this term.

Reception recited some lines from 'We're going on a bear hunt' and shared some firework poems they had written. They showed off their new found number skills by counting backwards from ten to zero and blast off!

Year 1 told us about the many things they had enjoyed doing this term - from orienteering to healthy eating! They showed us some photos of the castle pictues they had made and then read their three pigs story.

Year 2 told us about their trip to Ringstead and about all the fossils they had found! They showed us the story booklets they had made and read out a class version of 'Little Red Riding Hood' complete with scary wolf!

Towards the end, Ms Thorp presented certificates and medals to children for the things they had achieved outside of school. It was lovely to celebrate all the children's successes and it made us realise what a talented lot of children we have.

Well done everyone and keep up the good work!
