Milborne St Andrew Football Festival

On Thursday 30th March, seven children from Year 4 took part in the annual Milborne St Andrew football festival. It is a friendly football competition where children from local schools compete in short games against each other, concluding in a semi final for the top 4 schools and then a final. We had a fantastic afternoon and came 2nd overall!!! We only conceded 1 goal in the whole competition and that was in the final where we narrowly lost 1 -0 to Piddle Valley School. Ned also won player of the tournament for 'putting his body on the line for his team' where he made some fantastic saves against Broadmayne!! A brilliant achievement - we are all very proud of our team!! Thank you to Levi Dailey for organising the festival and Milborne St Andrew School for hosting!
PE Enrichment Sessions

Throughout the Spring term, four Year 4 children have been attending a variety of PE enrichment sessions. These sessions have included fitness endurance and strength, speed/power and flexibility, agility and coordination and team play and leadership. The children have worked alongside other Year 4 children from local schools and they have learnt many new skills to add to their already fantastic PE achievements!
