At Frome Valley CE First School, we feel it is very important to join the nation in remembering and honouring those who serve to defend our democratic freedoms and way of life. Each Year, two Year 4 children join Miss Thorp in attending Crossway's Remembrance service. The service starts at Crossways village hall before we walk to the RAF Warmwell Stone of Remembrance where many members of the local community also join us for 2 minutes silence.

The children, alongside other members of the community, then lay a wreath at the foot of the Stone of Remembrance.
