The Cross Has Been Lifted Into Place

1st June 2015
We were all very excited to come back to school after half term and see that the Cross has now been set in place on the clock tower. It was lovely to see the children looking at the school logo on thier uniform and noticing that it now looks the same as the clock tower.
The Cross is made from Cedar wood which is the same as the outside of the school and the community building so will, in time, become the same colour as the school itself.
Some other updates:
The community Building is taking shape. Some members of staff had a guided tour of the inside of the building a few weeks ago. It is lovely to see how big it looks inside and also where the kitchen, the office and toliets are all going to be situated.
The beginning of June saw the flooring being fitted in the kitchen and toilets, with painting soon to start all in preparation for the Dedication at the end of the Month
The Dedication Ceremony
Excitement is building in the community for the arrival of the Bishop of Salisbury, The Rt. Revd. Nicholas Holtam on Sunday 21st June 2015.
The community have been planning this event for a long time and are looking forward to this day very much. There will be lots of things happening during the day, with the school chior singing at the event too.
Please see the invitation for all the timings throughout the day.
